It was a wet and windy day in Melbourne so that sent me off to the Scrap room to create. The Graphic 45 range- A Ladies Diary is jsut perfect for Vintage pages. So with that in mind I hunted out this photo of my grandmother from the late 1940s
I think ladies of that era always looked so elegant in their hats and finery!
For this Heritage LO I have used the following, which are available in the Wild About Scrap store
- Graphic 45- A Ladies Dairy- Timeless Memoir paper
- Graphic 45 - A Ladies Diary- Chipboard Tags#1
- 7 Gypsies Ephemera- Gypsy
- Petaloo Glass Pins - Peach
- black ink pad
- black twine
- title letters
- black flower trim ( cut into individual flowers)
- Pearls
- pearl brads
- black sheer ribbon
- paper doiley
I made the paper flowers by punching some flowers using a large, medium and small retro flower punch, inking the edges and giving the petals some dimension- curling them etc. Then I stacked them and added the pearl brad.
This Grahic 45 range is one of my all time favourites -so make sure you order some from Veronica before it is all sold out !!!
