Inchie Board

Just quick post as I did promise to put up my finished Inchie Board. I have made mine with 64 tiles but you can make them to whatever size you like. My tiles are 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch for the smaller tiles then 1 1/2 by 3 inches with some 3 inch by 3 inch tiles as well (these larger ones are counted as 4 tiles). Photos have been cut 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch and all have been matted onto chipboard measuring the same size then I arranged them onto a larger 12 x 12 piece of chipboard. It is entirely up to you how many photos you use. These little tiles are just so much fun, I love how you can make each individual little tile a piece of art, a special little mini keepsake and can put as much or as little detail as you like. I plan to make a few more!

My new DT kit arrived from Wild About Scrap this week and while I have only had a quick look it is jam packed with goodness and I can't wait to get playing with all the wonderful stuff, so please call back and remember we value and enjoy reading all your lovely comments.

Have a wonderful day! xx

Inchies

Veronica over at Wild About Scrap is very generous with the DT kits she sends out, we are very fortunate as after making projects there is still plenty left over for more :)

Ever wondered what to do with all your left over little bits and pieces that usual end up building on your work space? Inchies - yes tiny little tiles which measure 1.5in x 1.5in, 3in x1.5in even 3in x 3in then add them along with photos cut into the same dimensions altogether to form a patch. Mounting each piece onto chipboard then each patch onto a larger board. Once you've made a stack you can add them to make a canvas, wall board frame or whatever. They are heaps of fun and you can be as creative as you like, the possibilities are endless! Below are just a few little tiles I've made and I will back to share with you the end results in just a few days :)

For these little Inchies I used Echo Park 6x6 Paper Pad This & That, ribbon, embossing folders, twine, charms - basically all the little bits that gather on your desk for a particular project but don't go. With Inchies it doesn't matter as each little tile is a project on its own and when you put them together they create an awesome masterpiece!

Need to replenish your stash, then head over to Wild About Scrap store and stock up on your supplies and maybe try giving these little guys a go, I promise you they are so much fun you will become addicted :)

Don't forget to come back and visit to see the finished board. Have a great week! xx

Happy Day!

I had forgotten how much fun dies can be to play with! They can be the perfect addition to a card or layout and you can easily coordinate them to any theme. Below are two cards I made using both Spellbinder dies and die cuts which easily show with some foam dots you can add lots of dimension. Using papers & diecuts, part of the latest DT kit and Fancy Pants Time for Spring range, these papers are so bright and fun!

Sweet Happy Fun

Just popping in to share a layout I created using products from my last DT kit which included the fabulous Fancy Pants Time for Spring collection. The layout features photos of my precious little one when she was on a school excursion to the wonderful Swan Valley Animal Farm. I kept the layout fairly simple as I just adore these photos of my little girl being mobbed by all these loveable bunnies, I am postive she would have sat there the entire day feeding and playing with them lol.
